Items can be drawn to any database type i.e. ANSI, DIN, API, BSS, MSS, etc. or a customised database.
Sizes can be set for Raised faced, Flat faced, Ring type joints or Custom ends.
Built-in intelligence helps the designer interrogate the
drawings and prevents items with conflicting settings being placed together.
Parametric symbols can be changed by editing a default file. i.e. no knowledge of lisp required.
P-Chem is being successfully used in many companies in locations where technical support is limited.

P&ID

		Libraries covering all types of Piping, Equipment, and Instrumentation symbols as well as commonly use line types i.e. Pneumatic, Hydraulic. Symbols automatically break lines on insertion. P-Chem P&ID's now has a link to MSAccess for Bill of Materials.

	Isometric

		Once the ISO plane has been set, all blocks will be correctly orientated for that line, breaking into the line where relevant. Iso dimensions and iso text can also be set by choosing the relevant iso plane.

Structural

	The structural package has been developed to help piping designer drawing simple structures such as pipe racks, access platforms and pipe supports. All structural sections are supported for both British standards and European standards. For offshore projects there are several tubular routings to help produce steelwork layouts.
